It’s Important to Understand Programming

I like vibe coding. I do it all the time at home. But I think it’s important to be able to understand what these LLMs are coding for us. Why do they select certain technologies? Why are things architected certain ways (not always good ways).

If we are entering a future where coding is more the responsibility of the AI, and architecting is what us humans will do, then we need to start teaching others how to architect.
